What we are looking for
What we have to offer
What you'll be doing as a Consultant
For our ambitious international growth plans, we are immediately looking for an experienced and driven Consultant. As a Consultant, you will be part of a team responsible for managing a suite of current clients, plus onboarding new clients in one or more regions in Australasia (Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong+).
You will guide our customers in the implementation of our software. You will also work closely with the software engineers who carry out the configuration and external design agencies that provide designs for web and PDF.
You provide training to customers, you discuss implementation choices, and you monitor the planning and costs.
In addition, you are able to support sales, among other things by giving product demos and identifying and realizing cross- and upsell opportunities.
You enjoy advising and supporting customers. You are looking for a diverse, inspiring, and informal working environment in which you can develop with motivated colleagues.
Plenty of room to grow.
“It’s so rewarding to hear from our happy clients the tangible benefits the software brings to their corporate reporting production process. No one client or one day is the same and that keeps it so interesting. Plus being able to work with talented software engineers on the development of the product and configurations brings a great challenge to the role.”
A day in the life of a Consultant
You start the day reviewing and testing resolved JIRA issues delivered by the NL-based team with your Sydney-based support colleague. You can then update clients on the successful delivery with an email and any required instructions.
After this, you review all incoming emails or new Service Desk requests via ZenDesk. As you are so familiar with your clients’ configurations you can resolve most of these yourself or with your support colleague. However, if the request is for some new configuration updates or on the rare occasion a bug, you can triage that through to the NL team for updating overnight. You are apt at scoping, so clear instructions will be enough for the NL team to know what they are required to deliver.
You may then check in with a few existing clients. Relationships are key in this role. We want to ensure our clients feel supported and we are there to help them as needed. These are time-critical legal documents that they are building, so it helps to demonstrate that we understand the pressures they are under.
You may then need to meet with a Sales Executive to prepare an upcoming new business presentation and demo. You will discuss what the key features of the software will be of most benefit to demonstrate in response to the client’s pain points in their current production process.
Alternatively, you may take some time out to perfect your flow of an upcoming online Webinar or write up the training guide for your next session with a new client.
Later you have your weekly catch-up with the NL config team on current and upcoming workflow, so you decide to pop to the gym and get in some ‘me-time’ before that.
Tomorrow you will meet with your new client and their design agency on scoping a new configuration. You can take them through what they are required to deliver and advise them on the best approach to their design components plus discuss any behaviors around these. This will prepare you to write up the scope for estimation and then implementation by the Software Engineers.
Every day is unique and rewarding.
